Admission Policy

The Page for Family and Friends.

Here at Carcosa, we recognize the importance of family. We further recognize the various financial situations that many individuals are facing in our city. With these thoughts in mind, we have provided a page with an explanation of how we work in terms of admission of prisoners and visitation rights.

Prisoner Rights

All individuals placed in Carcosa have been done so by the court of law. No individual is held in Carcosa illegally; the only time an individual is held in the prison without having been to trial is on level 1, which has several holding cells that the City of Attollo Police (CAP) use for overnight stays. Prisoners in Carcosa have a right to keep contact with their attorneys, and if permissible, can go before a parole board when the time comes. Any complains about treatment in Carcosa are taken seriously and our HR Board, alongside our Warden, investigate every complaint with the utmost vigor. If anyone is curious about the rights that prisoners have in our institute, we encourage you to call or email us with your inquiries and we would be happy to provide with you a copy of our legal book that every prisoner is provided upon admission.

Visitation Rights

Individuals kept on levels 1 - 3 are permitted visitations from family and friends. Unless special circumstances (such as family therapy) dictate otherwise, no individuals from levels 4-9 are permitted visitations. Visitors are asked to contact Carcosa's office to place a visitation request, which will be responded to within 3-5 business days. From there, arrangements will be made for times that visitors can see the designated prisoner. Visits are permitted up to level 3, with conjugal being only kept at level 1. Carcosa retains the right to cancel any visitations should an incident wit the prisoner in question arise, or we have any sort of suspicion regarding the visitation.
